To produce quality teachers for playing their significant role in the emerging knowledge society for educational reconstruction tending to result in total reconstruction of the nation by adhering to statement- “TEACHERS ARE NATION BUILDERS”. To play this role effectively, we at Rashbehari College of Education strive to equip students with the appropriate knowledge, habits, attitudes and values.

Objectives

To prepare dedicated teachers for improvement of the school education system in the state of West Bengal and nation.
To train the teachers so that they are fit on all the fronts, i.e., social, mental, physical, moral, cultural and spiritual.
To help them excel in academic as well as other areas of prosperity.

College is a platform where the students prepare themselves to face the world and Rashbehari College of Education has striven to mould the personalities of students in such a way that they can face the perplexing, complex situations and challenges of life with confidence. We provide a plethora of activities for the judicious all-round development of youthful energies, properly channelized towards creativity and selfactualization. Our aim is pursuit of “Excellence in Education”, which we try to achieve by incorporating and using latest innovative methods of teaching by providing first grade state-of-the-art facilities.
Further, we are devoted to the task of inculcating in the young minds, values which will lead to the refinement of the entire personae, thereby, making them stand apart as “A meteorite sparkles in the galaxy of human race”

With the explosion of knowledge and globalization of education across social, cultural and geographical boundaries, we provide our students with unique multi-cultural programmes. This on one hand helps our students to know about the socio-economic, cultural and educational scenario and on the other hand, takes our college and students to national platform. Thus, our students have an edge over others as they are well equipped to face the global challenges.

Rashbehari Foundation

Keeping in view the growing need of educational opportunities for children to develop them into responsible citizens as a national resource and their exposure to contemporary circumstances, “Rashbehari Foundation” was established as a body registered Under Section 14 & 15 of the NCTE Act, 1993. The society with its concerted efforts has been able to establish itself remarkably in enhancing the educational, managerial and cultural attributes of an individual establishment of Rashbehari College of Education.
